Dr. Dwayne Olatonade

Dr. Olatonade graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences in 2005 and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2007. He is proud to have provided dental care to the Edmonton community for over ten years. Dr. O has also previously practised in rural Alberta, Calgary, and the Greater Toronto Area.

Dr. Olatonade is passionate about volunteering dental services to those without means, both here in Canada and abroad!

When he’s not at the clinic, you can find Dwayne attending live music events around the city, travelling to places all over the globe, or participating in water sports such as surfing and scuba-diving!

Dr. Aqib Shirazi

Dr. Shirazi graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor in Science (Psychology) in 2014 and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2018. He was born and raised in Edmonton, and liked it here so much that he never left.

Dr. Shirazi takes pride in his patient-centered approach. He will always take the time to address any questions or concerns that you might have. In his time away from work, you might find him attending local festivals, taking pictures, or trying to replicate recipes from the Food Network.

Daniel

As a Dental Hygienist at Oliver Park Dental, Daniel is proud to work in an office that values environmentally sustainable dental practices. Daniel believes that oral health is inexorably connected to whole body health and that dental hygiene is a core foundation of healthy living.

In 2017, Daniel received his Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.

When he’s not educating you about proper home-care oral hygiene techniques, Daniel can be found watching an obscene amount of Netflix, biking, or tackling a new home renovation.

Chantel 1

Chantel

Since she was young, Chantel has always had an interest in dentistry. As she grew older and began to learn more about the profession, her interest in pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene emerged. As a Dental Hygienist at Oliver Park Dental, Chantel aims to educate each of her clients about the connection between their overall health and proper oral hygiene.

Chantel graduated from the Diploma in Dental Hygiene program at the University of Alberta in 2018 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Dental Hygiene in 2019.

When she’s not cleaning your teeth, Chantel can be found visiting the dog park with her Shih Tzu Bambam, camping with friends and family, or travelling to the mountains snowboard-in-hand.

Ashley

As a Registered Dental Assistant at Oliver Park Dental, Ashley believes patient education is key to providing the best dental care. She enjoys being a part of a team that strives to create an overall relaxing experience at the dental office.

In 2017, Ashley graduated from the Dental Assisting program at NAIT and has been at OPD ever since.

When she’s not at the clinic, Ashley is eith er doing yoga, travelling the globe, or taking a nap.

Jordan

Dr. Rattai

Dr. Rattai was born and raised in Calgary, where he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2016. He then moved to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta. He completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2020 and now calls Edmonton home.

By recognizing the importance of clear, open communication, Dr. Rattai strives to build strong relationships with his patients. He is a published researcher in Dental Trauma, and looks forward to life-long learning in his career.

When he is away from the clinic, Dr. Rattai can often be found engaging in sports-related activities, developing his skills as an amateur photographer, or out exploring Alberta.

Christine

Christine is the Accounts Manager at Oliver Park Dental. She enjoys coming to work every day to work with the GREAT Team at Oliver Park Dental. Christine is new to the dental field so everyday is an exciting learning experience. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, fishing and camping.

I absolutely love helping people and now patients to make them feel their best in their dental health, so I graduated with dental assisting from CDI college in 2019. I joined OPD as an assistant and am now helping as a treatment coordinator and Administrative assistant position. Outside of work I am a classical singer and love practising my vocals and string instruments in my free time. I absolutely love cooking and spending time with my family.

Janel

Janel graduated with a Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. She is new to dentistry and loves it thus far. She also loves dogs, enjoys travelling, and can be won over relatively easily with some dessert. Janel also loves learning new languages and dabbling in interior decorating.

Jennae is new to dentistry and loving it so far! She enjoys working out, spending time with family & friends and travelling.

Kristina

After having to deal with braces at a young age, Kristina’s curiosity about dentistry began. This prompted her to pursue her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at the University of Alberta in 2017 and then went on to specialize in Community Practice by completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Kristina feels lucky to be in a practice where she can work with a wonderful team and have the opportunity to get to know her patients personally, educate, and find solutions to help them improve their oral and overall health. When you don’t see her at work, Kristina is spending time with family, trying new creative projects, or finding recipes that involve a good amount of truffle oil!

Ramon

Ramon is a dentist from Brazil and recently moved to Canada to do his masters in Oral Biology at the University of Alberta. In his spare time you can find him at McDonalds, window shopping, trying to convince people to visit Brazil during Carnaval, petting anonymous dogs, rewatching The Office for the fifth time and reading endless threads on Twitter.
Actually you can find him anywhere but at GoodLife.

Favorite time of the year = McDonalds monopoly.

Rachel

Rachel graduated from the NAIT dental assistant program in April of 2020. Rachel takes pride in being able to make her patient’s feel as comfortable as possible while getting their dental treatment done. She became a dental assistant to help ensure everyone has a healthy; beautiful smile. In her spare time, you can find her researching the latest beauty trends, attending music festivals and shopping!

Lindsay

Lindsay has been a dental assistant for 8 years. She loves being able to build long term relationships with both patients and co-workers. When she’s not at the office you can find her crushing a 20 pack of McNuggets and then immediately heading to the gym to burn it off. She also enjoys travelling to see her boyfriend in Toronto and working 12+ hours a day.
